Terms of Sale

Last updated: September 27, 2026

This English translation is provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding one: Conditions générales de vente.

These terms govern purchases of virtual items made in the shop of the game Shefira. They supplement the terms of use. Every purchase assumes that you have read and accepted them; they can be viewed at any time from the home screen and at this address, and you can save or print them.

1. Seller

Hereinafter “we”. The buyer, a consumer, is referred to as “you”.

2. What is sold

The shop sells digital content supplied without a tangible medium: virtual items usable only in Shefira, sold individually or in bundles (packs). Each offer is described in the shop, with an animated preview of the item.

Purchased items have no monetary value, cannot be refunded in in-game gold or converted into money, and cannot be resold for real money. They can be traded between players in the game, like other unbound items.

Functionality and compatibility: the items are used in the game, which is played in a recent web browser (computer, tablet or phone) with an internet connection. A purchase is made from a logged-in character; the item is attached to that character. A guest account with no e-mail address or password may be lost if the browser forgets its session: we advise you to secure your account before buying.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in the shop in euros, all taxes included (VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). No delivery charge or additional fee is applied. The price charged is the one displayed when you confirm the order. We may change our prices at any time, with no effect on an order already confirmed.

4. Ordering and payment

  1. In the game’s shop, you choose an offer; the summary shows its price.
  2. Before paying, you tick a box by which you request immediate delivery of the item and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as it is delivered (see Article 6).
  3. You pay in Stripe’s secure payment window (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), with one of the payment methods it offers. We neither see nor keep your card details.
  4. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. An order confirmation is sent to the e-mail address entered during payment.

A purchase by a minor requires the prior permission of their parents or legal guardian, who holds the payment method.

5. Delivery

The item is delivered immediately after the payment is confirmed, into the bag of the character who placed the order. If the bag is full, the order stays pending and the item can be collected from the shop window as soon as a slot is free. If an item you paid for has not reached you, write to us: we will deliver it or refund you.

6. Right of withdrawal

For digital content supplied without a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once supply has begun after your prior express consent and after you have acknowledged that you lose this right (Article L221-28, 13°, of the French Consumer Code). This is the purpose of the checkbox before payment: by ticking it, you request that the item be delivered to you right away, and you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as it is delivered. This consent is restated in the order confirmation.

If, for any reason, this consent was not obtained, you have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to give a reason (Articles L221-18 et seq.). To do so, send us a clear statement at contact@shefira.com, for example using the model below. We will refund you within 14 days of your request, using the payment method used for the purchase, and the item is removed from your account.

Model withdrawal form

To Mathéo Palmier (Echovillage), 37 Hameau des Sagnes, 42130 Trelins, France, contact@shefira.com:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the supply of the following digital content: [name of the offer], ordered on [date], for the character [character name].

Name of the consumer: [name] — Account e-mail address: [address] — Date: [date]

7. Refunds and disputes

8. Legal warranties

You benefit from the legal warranty of conformity for digital content (Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). For content supplied in a single act, we are liable for lack of conformity that appears within two years of its supply. In the event of a defect (an item that does not display, cannot be equipped, or does not match its description), you can have it brought into conformity free of charge; if that is impossible, is not done within a reasonable time, or if the defect is serious, you can obtain a price reduction or the termination of the contract and a refund. To invoke it, write to us at contact@shefira.com.

We may change the artwork of an item (fixes, artistic touch-ups, technical adjustments) at no cost to you. If a change affects your use of the item in more than a minor way, we will inform you and you may request termination of the contract under the conditions provided for by the French Consumer Code.

9. Availability of the service

Shefira is an online game run independently. We do our best to keep it accessible, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or incidents, without this giving rise to compensation when the interruption is brief. A purchased item can only be used as long as the game is running and your account is active. An account closed for a serious breach of the terms of use (cheating, payment fraud, harassment) loses the use of purchased items, without refund.

10. Closure of the game

If we decide to shut Shefira down, we will announce it in the game and on the website at least 30 days in advance. The shop closes as soon as it is announced. Purchases made in the 30 days before the announcement are refunded on request sent before the actual closure. Beyond that, the closure does not give rise to any refund, the items having been supplied and usable for the lifetime of the game.

11. Complaints and mediation

For any complaint, first write to contact@shefira.com; we will reply as soon as possible. If your written complaint is not resolved, you may, within the year that follows it, turn free of charge to the consumer mediator we come under (Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code):

The consumer mediator is being appointed; their contact details will be published here and are available on simple request at contact@shefira.com.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. They do not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside. Failing an amicable agreement or mediation, you may bring the matter before the court of the place where you lived when the contract was concluded or when the harmful event occurred, or any other court with jurisdiction under the law.
